The House at the End of the Street by markhosmer The House at the End of the Street by markhosmer
In North Park, San Diego. I started this painting in 1998 or 99, but didn't finish it until 2004, so it's a sort of bridge between my two lives. I didn't photograph it before it was sold, so here it is now...thirteen years late. about 36" x 24"

A very interesting atmosphere you've managed to create. From the title, I'd assumed it was some sort of ominous scene, which it definitely could have been. But the streetlights are warm and welcoming, and the way they illuminate the road coupled with the sky and the trees make a sort of balmy atmosphere. I like this a lot!

For being so far between the beginning in end, absolutely amazing lighting and atmosphere!
