Since this house was close to, but not on, Normal Street, San Diego, I added an ab-Normally green sky. The curtains looked like a bed sheet on a rope, but the rest of the house was quite trim. The strange roofline was, well...strange. Oil on panel, ca.1998, 24"X36"

i thought these were all photos! these are so good O.O and you find the most interestingly shaped houses. i wish i could live here lol

In a city as big and old (by American standards) as San Diego there are lots of odd buildings, some built that way and some that have morphed into weirdness over the years. But now I live in Orange County where they are harder to come by - it's mostly beige tract homes.
